class=\"elementor-text-editor elementor-clearfix\"><p>La r\u00e9alit\u00e9 : dans chaque pays et chaque ville, les d\u00e9chets sont g\u00e9r\u00e9s diff\u00e9remment. Il y a des villes o\u00f9 les d\u00e9chets plastiques ne sont pas recycl\u00e9s. Seulement 9% du plastique est recycl\u00e9 dans le monde. Yao et Wang veulent changer cette statistique.<\/p>\n<p>Lorsqu'elles \u00e9taient jeunes, Miranda Wang et Jeanny Yao ont fr\u00e9quent\u00e9 l'\u00e9cole secondaire Magee \u00e0 Vancouver, en British Columbia. Elles \u00e9taient en 12<sup>e<\/sup> ann\u00e9e lorsqu'elles ont particip\u00e9 au concours Sanofi Biogenius Canada. Avec l'aide de mentors de l'University of British Columbia, elles ont trouv\u00e9 des bact\u00e9ries dans la fleuve Fraser qui d\u00e9composent les plastiques polluants tout en excluant d'autres sources de nourriture.<\/p>\n<p>Mais ce fut le d\u00e9but, car elles fond\u00e8rent plus tard BioCellection, une plate-forme chimique de recyclage des plastiques, qui utilise une nouvelle invention de proc\u00e9d\u00e9 chimique pour transformer les plastiques m\u00e9lang\u00e9s et contamin\u00e9s, qui sont pour la plupart non recyclables, en produits chimiques de qualit\u00e9 vierge qui peuvent ensuite \u00eatre r\u00e9utilis\u00e9s.
