La chine construit le plus grand purificateur d'air au monde afin de diminuer la pollution et les gaz toxiques dans la ville de Xian.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>

Actuellement, plusieurs plans sont en place afin de produire plus de tours-purificatrices d'air dans le monde en s'inspirant du mod\u00e8le install\u00e9 \u00e0 Xian.<\/p>

En effet, la tour a d\u00e9j\u00e0 produit plus de 353 millions m3 d'air propre depuis la date de son installation et les r\u00e9sultats sont encourageants. Serait-elle alors la solution ultime \u00e0 la pollution de l'air? C'est la question qu'on se pose maintenant!<\/p>

Le design de la tour permet d'\u00e9liminer des polluants toxiques comme le PM2.5 ou le PM10. Les PM2.5 sont des particules inhalables dont le diam\u00e8tre est inf\u00e9rieur \u00e0 2.5 microm\u00e8tres qui peuvent causer plusieurs maladies graves comme l'asthme, maladies du c\u0153ur etc.\u00a0<\/p>

Dr. David Pui, un professeur en g\u00e9nie m\u00e9canique \u00e0 l'universit\u00e9 du Minnesota qui travaille sur le projet a dit: 'Je dis toujours \u00e0 mes \u00e9tudiants que nous n'avons pas besoin d\u2019\u00eatre m\u00e9decin pour sauver des vies. Il suffit de r\u00e9duire le niveau de pollution de 20% pour sauver plusieurs vies humaines.'<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Le syst\u00e8me fonctionne avec des serres qui couvre le bas de la tour.<\/p>

L'air pollu\u00e9 est aspir\u00e9 dans les serres et est chauff\u00e9 par \u00e9nergie solaire. Une fois chauff\u00e9, celui-ci monte dans la tour et passe par plusieurs filtres afin d\u2019\u00eatre lib\u00e9r\u00e9 \u00e0 la fin dans l'atmosph\u00e8re.<\/p>

Il est \u00e0 noter que le chauffage de la ville de Xian pendant l'hiver se base principalement sur le charbon ce qui explique pourquoi la ville est tr\u00e8s pollu\u00e9e pendant cette saison.<\/p>

Afin de r\u00e9soudre ce probl\u00e8me, un syst\u00e8me sp\u00e9cial qui permet d'absorber les radiations solaires pendant l'hiver a \u00e9t\u00e9 inclus dans la tour.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Les ing\u00e9nieurs d\u00e9veloppent des prototypes qui permettent de diminuer la pollution de l'air. Nous aimerions alors proposer quelques id\u00e9es qui pourraient les inspirer :)<\/p>

L'id\u00e9e est de faire le design d'un filtre qui permet d\u2019\u00e9liminer les petites particules (grains de sable, sel, poivre etc) sans bloquer 40% de l'air qui passe par celui-ci.<\/p>

En se basant sur le processus de Design Thinking, faites le design puis construisez votre prototype\/solution au probl\u00e8me.<\/p>

Rappelez-vous que le 1er prototype n'a pas besoin d\u2019\u00eatre parfait.
